These are the locations of games development organizations, This image shows that its better to live in America or Europe if you're looking for work in games development but this doesn't show locations for indie development teams but the benefit to indie developers is that they are able to work mainly apart meaning that they don't have to travel to any where.

Indie VS AAA
AAA developers could expect to earn 14k-40k depending on their experience and role. AAA develops are broken into teams with a manager checking the work coming in to see if it's coming in on time and any issues are coming up.
The solo game developer would expect about $11,812 (£8913.34) but near the end of the year that will go down about 4% if you were a member of the development crew you could expect around $50,833 (£38348.42), programmers get the most money getting about $93,251 (£70348.55), artist and animators expect about $74,349 (£56088.89).
Unlike AAA developer indie developers games normally have more bug as AAA has normally a lot of people testing the game for bugs.
Indie games costs can very depending on the type of game, the required work time, project length and other facters.

Career Resarch
3d Modeller
I think the role of modeller would fit me the most as it's the thing that I have the most experience with. According to Glassdoor as of 18/09/2017 a junior can expect 1k-2k a month but a 3d modeller contractor can expect about 44k-48k but Glassdoor dose not confirm if that's weekly, monthly and/or yearly. According to people writing in to Glassdoor it best to work in the main city of London if not London then Glasgow as they're the 2 best for yearly income from England. Payscale states that a 3d modeller can get on average 25,534 a month but also says location grades and experience can effect that average. It commonly better to live near a big town for 3d modelling jobs as they're mainly in big city near other 3d modelling companies. A 3d modeller has to make 3d assets to go with the project, the kind of items a 3d modeller can make would be a characters, props, maps and buildings.
3d Level designer
Being a 3d level designer is the only over option for me as a back up for being a modeller as that would fit what I can do. according to Glassdoor a level designer if lucky can expect 32,213 a year. other possible wages that Glassdoor state are 19,317 a year and 24k-25k but it doesn't not say if its monthly or yearly. A 3d level designer would make environments for the game that's being developed, the environment can change depending on what kind of environment is wanted.
Game tester
The average for a game tester is about £12k a year 14k is the average a year and those with experience can expect 18k a year, Game testers as the name tells test games, they check of bugs in games and then has to write up a report about the game issues listing bugs to fix that will be sent to those who will fix it.

The pan to accomplish this is to finish the full UAL game development course (year 1 and 2) to then move to UCl game development (for 2 years) then to do 1 year in university for games development after university I'll look for full time work in UK for a few years to then apply for a job in america or just stay in UK.
The areas I plan to look for university are London, Southampton and Bath
For jobs I mainly want to look around London, US and if not online.
I plan to do part-time work when doing my courses.
The joke roles in games development that interest me more is the to be a 3D modeller.
